The problem

Vinyl flooring bought without marine approval lifts with humidity, discolours with light and fails ahead of schedule — and poor installation shows up first at the seams and skirting, exactly where inspection looks first.

How we solve it

We install material approved for marine use, with proper base preparation and execution that leaves no visible seam or loose edge — the details that decide whether the floor passes inspection.

Frequently asked questions

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference from regular vinyl?

Approved material is specified to withstand constant humidity, heavy traffic and the fire-behaviour requirements a vessel may demand.

Can you replace just a damaged section?

Yes, when the damage is localised. We assess whether a spot repair keeps the visual standard before recommending it.

How long before the area can be used after installation?

It depends on the adhesive and ambient temperature. We state the cure time in the proposal so you can plan releasing the area.

Other services
Offshore Carpentry
Custom carpentry and woodworking built for vessel environments — where dimensions are never standard, access is restricted and the work has to survive constant motion, humidity and heavy use.
Marine Joinery
Precision joinery for accommodation and technical spaces, executed to marine standards and finished to survive an offshore duty cycle rather than an office one.
Vessel Interior Repair
Targeted repair of interior areas that fail inspection or degrade crew conditions — addressed in the port window you have, not the one you'd like.
Offshore Furniture
Furniture designed and built for vessels: fixed, dimensioned to the space available, and specified for offshore accommodation instead of adapted from shore-based products.
Material & Equipment Supply
Sourcing, consolidation and delivery of materials and equipment against your specification — one purchase order instead of a list of separate vendors to chase.
Custom Marine Solutions
Requirements that don't fit a category. If it concerns your vessel's interior, structure or supply, send the scope and we will assess whether we can execute it.
Marine Upholstery
Restoration and fabrication of upholstery for chairs, fixed benches and seating, with foam and covering specified to withstand heavy use, humidity and frequent cleaning.
Mattress Sanitizing
Technical sanitizing of accommodation mattresses, with a documented process to support occupational health audits and crew comfort.
Flooring & Subfloor
Repair and levelling of subfloor, and replacement of floor covering in accommodation, corridors and technical areas.
Acrylic Products
Fabrication of custom acrylic parts — guards, windows and technical components — for specific applications on board.
