The problem

Original upholstery does not survive the continuous use, humidity and frequent cleaning a vessel demands. Synthetic leather dries out, foam loses shape, stitching opens — and a comfortable seat turns into a crew complaint.

How we solve it

We restore or fabricate with foam of the right density and covering specified for the marine environment, keeping the original seat dimensions or adjusting to the area's current layout.

Can you restore without replacing the whole piece?

It depends on the condition of the frame and foam. We assess piece by piece and tell you what is restorable before quoting a full replacement.

Does the covering hold up to salt air?

We specify marine-grade material, built for humidity and frequent cleaning — not the same covering used in shore-based furniture.

Can you build upholstery to fit a new layout?

Yes. If the area was refurbished or the seat is a new piece, we measure and fabricate to fit.
